Door Supervisors will need to be licensed
by the SIA if they are responsible for Security,
Protection, Screening the suitability of
people entering Licensed Premises or dealing
with Conflict in Pubs, Clubs and other Licensed
Premises open to the General Public.
You
will only need one licence to work anywhere
in England and Wales.
To get the SIA
qualification for door supervisors,
you will need to attend a two part
training course and take and pass
two exams. The course will be delivered
over 4 weekdays (limited weekends
or evening sessions). The total training
time will always be 30 hours, which
includes two hours of exams.Cost - £180
Training is delivered
in two parts as follows:
Part 1 - Role and
responsibilities of a door supervisor (14
hours)
